Refund Policy for OORO

Thank you for choosing OORO We understand that learning needs can be unique and situations can change. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which a refund may be requested for payments made on our platform.
Please note: OORO is a facilitator connecting students and teachers. We process payments but do not provide the educational services directly. Therefore, refunds will be determined by the individual teacher for their respective lessons or courses.
Refundable Scenarios:
- Teacher cancellation: If a teacher cancels a scheduled lesson or course before it begins, you will receive a full refund for the lesson or course fee.
- Technical issues: If you experience technical difficulties during a lesson or course that render it unusable, and the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund depending on the severity and duration of the issue.
- Teacher non-compliance: If a teacher does not deliver the promised lesson content or does not meet the agreed-upon learning objectives, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund depending on the nature and extent of the non-compliance.
Non-Refundable Scenarios:
- Student cancellation: If you cancel a scheduled lesson or course within [teacher-defined cancellation window] (e.g., 24 hours) of the start time, you will not be eligible for a refund.
- Unsatisfied with teaching style: If you are not satisfied with the teacher's teaching style or approach, but they have delivered the agreed-upon lesson content and met the learning objectives, you will not be eligible for a refund.
- Technical issues on your end:
If you experience technical difficulties on your own equipment or
internet connection that prevent you from attending a lesson or course, you will not be eligible for a refund.
- Completed lessons or courses: You will not be eligible for a refund for lessons or courses that you have already completed.
How to Request a Refund:
To request a refund, please contact the teacher directly through the OORO messaging system. Clearly explain the reason for your request and provide any relevant supporting documentation. The teacher will then review your request and make a decision on whether to issue a refund.
Platform Role in Refunds:
- OORO facilitates communication between students and teachers but does not make decisions regarding refunds. We encourage open communication and strive to find a mutually agreeable solution for all parties involved.
- We may assist in mediating disputes between students and teachers if necessary.
- We reserve the right to deny a refund request if it is deemed to be fraudulent or abusive.
We encourage you to carefully review the teacher's cancellation policy and lesson descriptions before booking any lessons or courses.
